It wont help or hurt: "styes" is a layman's term for blocked oil glands in the eyelid. Most all will resolve completely with time and warm compresses. If they do not resolve in a reasonable period of time, an ophthalmologist can easily incise and drain them leading to quick resolution. This triple antibiotic should not hurt anything(if not allergic), but won't help either as these are not bacterial in origin.
