A member asked:

How can i tell the difference between my parkinson's and spinal stenosis?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Spinal stenosis: Parkinson's is a movement disorder with tremors of the hand. Spinal stenosis is a narrowing of the spinal canal usually leading to lower back and leg pain and typically made worse by any extended walking. The pain usually gets better with rest. A neurology consultation might be helpful to further differentiate the symptoms as they are quite different between the two diseases.
