Reverse??: I'm not sure what a reverse epidural is. Epidural steroids are injected in the spine to lessen inflamation and thereby provide pain relief. I have never heard one referred to as "reverse".

Unless you are talking about a Lysis of Adhesions procedure in which the injection travels up to the problem area.

Injection: Epidural glucocorticoid injections (also referred to as "corticosteroid injections" or "steroid injections") involve the administration of steroids in the space between the dura and the spine. Epidural injections have been used in patients with radiculopathy, spinal stenosis, and nonspecific low back pain. A recent report showed no long-term efficacy in chronic lumbar radiculopathy.
