Not necessarily: Lichen planis is a affliction that attacks the skin and other surface coverings. It is an auto-immune disease or body attacks itself. Your immune system act against your our body. There are many lesions and outbreaks from this disease. Hair loss not common but there are numerous similar or different diseases that do. If concerned, talk to a dermatologist.
