Urodynamics: is an in-office test that does not require any special preparation or anesthesia. A very thin catheter is placed in the bladder and another one is placed in either the vagina (women) or rectum (men). These catheters measure pressures as the bladder is slowly filled with fluid. Then you will be asked to pee with the catheters in. Not too uncomfortable for most.
