Why is scuba diving dangerous in pregnancy?

Scuba & pregnancy: Well it is not a good idea to start any new activity when you are pregnant. If you have been diving before you may want to hold off on any future dives while you are pregnant. There may be some effects from the pressure on the developing fetus.
