Could be ucer: Epigastric pain which is the tip of your stomach could mean either ulcer or gastritis negative ct scan does not mean you do not have a problem stay on liquid or light diet take either Prilosec or zantac (ranitidine) from over the counter with some anti acid make sure your bowels moving ok no constipation if your symptoms does not improve your doctor should referred you for upper endoscopy.

Need More info : To help you figure this out. Quality of pain, location, any associated activity or food can all help identify the cause. Suggest seeing your pcp or an ed/ urgent care doctor if the pains are severe. A better history and good exam added to a few basic tests will likely give you an answer.
