A member asked:

In what way is cushings disease diagnosed?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Overnight: Do an overnight Dexamethasone suppression test: draw serum cortisol in the morning. Then take 1 mg of Dexamethasone at bedtime and repeat the serum cortisol the next morning. Failure to suppress is indicative of cushing's disease.
