CT Scans: A ct scan is one kind of radiographic image that can look at your brain and other structures in the skull. Ct scans are often used to evaluate for tumors, stroke, or other abnormalities. An MRI is another type of scan with a higher resolution picture, and can detect changes not seen in an mri, but a ct scan is typically a reasonable first line approach for symptoms of nausea and dizziness.
