Expect to Hurt: Its a procedure that is used to determine if a disc is a cause for your pain. The disc will be pressurized with a solution of antibiotic, contrast and saline. Likely if it helps determine the issue, you will be in slightly more pain than you came in. So expect to hurt afterwards, sometimes the doctor will prescribe something for post-procedure pain.
