Comparing 2 sides: Usually leg length discrepancy is usually diagnosed by weight bearing views of pelvis or pelvis and entire lower extremities. The difference either in height of one side of the pelvis versus the other is measured. The other method is measuring length of entire leg and comparing to opposite extremity.Generally a difference of greater than 1.5 cm is felt significant.
