A member asked:

How can you differentiate cerebellar dysfunctions from basal ganglia dysfuntions?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: Somewhat easy for a trained neurologist, as different types of tremors, muscle tone, coordination, gait and balance, and our imaging studies, such as MRI and PET scans can separate out the location of the problems.
