In what way can we cure glioblastoma multiforme tumours?

Find good Neurosurg: This is a very dangerous type of cancer. Yet a small percentage do survive this cancer. The chances are better if a tumor removed completely(debulking it to the max) and follow it up with radiotherapy combined with chemotherapy(temodar) and avastin (bevacizumab).

Hard to say: Cure is a complicated word to use, but the chance of living five years with GBM has increased from 0.5% twelve years ago to 16% in the latest Optune study. Who knows what the next twelve years will bring? Joshua Garren, MD Medical Director Tulsa Brain Tumor Clinic www.braintumorclinic.org
