Hydroxyzine 25 mg: Take as needed 25 mg up to 3 times a day. If you find that this dose is too sedative for you take only half of a tablet= 12.5 mg. Otc medication that can also help is benadryl, (diphenhydramine) 25 mg tabl. Taken in the same dose and way as the hydoxyzine. Ganapentin (neurontin) 300 mg up to three times a day cand do it too but you would need a prescription.
