Please help docs! where is the concentration of oxygen highest--in your lungs or blood arriving at your lungs?

In the lungs: Blood arrives in the lungs in a deoxygenated state. The function of the lungs is to exposure red cells to oxygen from the air which the red cells then carry to the rest of the body. So the blood leaving the lungs to the heart is rich in oxygen.
