Pollution and health: Pollution is bad because of the toxins it places into our environment, whether it's from the land, sea, air or food. Our bodies do a good job of detoxification but you can still get a build up within you body. For instance, the thyroid can pick up heavy metals such as chlorine from our water, bromide an other chemicals in our food. This can affect every organs ability to function properly.
