Juvederm Voluma XC: Juvederm Voluma XC is a hyaluronic acid filler, recently FDA approved in the US. Depending on how it is injected, studies done during the approval process show it can last up to 2 years. There are longer lasting dermal fillers available in the US. Radiesse is non-HA, calcium-based microspheres filler that can last a year or more. Artefill is permanent, non-HA, collagen + PMMA filler.

Great product: Voluma is a hyaluronic acid that is man-made. It is great for enhancement of the cheeks. It supposedly remains around longer than many other fillers. When injected in an artistic manner it fills and contours the mid-face in a natural manner. www.artofplasticsurgery.com

Yes: Voluma is the newest in the Juvederm family of HA fillers. It is a thicker gel and is used to lift and replace volume in the mid face. Because it is so much thicker it does last longer, up to 2 years. However because it is thicker it is not indicated for filling finer lines since it would not look or feel as natural.

Juvederm Voluma XC: Voluma is effective, and results can last up to 2 years. The longevity of the results can vary for each individual. The filler can restore any lost volume to the cheeks.
