Not great idea: It is never a good idea to exposure yourself to medication without a proper diagnosis. When it comes to infectious organisms over exposure to antibiotics and antifungals can develop resistance over time. However since there are many over the counter remedies it is not unusual for patients' to self treat. I would recommend that if you do not get better with one treatment then seek further care.
