took clomid, didn't get pergnant, had spotting then took provera (medroxyprogesterone) to get period but ended up spotting and w/in two weeks spotting again.what is going on?

Did not respond: If you ovulate in response to taking clomid, (clomiphene) you should either get a period about 2 weeks after ovulation or be pregnant. Occasionally a cyst can delay that period. Most likely you did not ovulate. Your doctor will likely want to increase the clomid, (clomiphene) and if it is not working at higher doses, refer you to a fertility doctor.
