Infected bladder: It is not normal to always be infected. Big difference between a bladder infection and a kidney infection kidney infections usually much worse with high fevers , back pain and feeling very sick. Bladder infections common in women and usually are more frequent when women become sexually active. Sometimes bladder "infection" is just irritation. Avoid tight fitting panties or sports shorts.

Recurrent UTI: Recurrent UTI happens when bacteria from GI tract enter into the urethra and reproduce. Recurrent utis develop when immune system is unable to fight of infection or urethra is continuosly irritated so bacteria can enter freely in the bladder.Sexually active women are more prone to utis as sex irritate urethra it is more common in women due to anatomy of shorter urethra.Suggest you see a urologist.

Causes: Are the uti's proven by urine cultures? Recurrent uti's in women can be caused by intercourse, baths or tight jeans. Urologic evaluation would have discovered structural abnormalities, stones or other reasons for repeated uti's.
