A member asked:

Are muscle relaxers bad like soma (carisoprodol) bad if you have acid reflux?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Depends: Sometimes Soma (carisoprodol) is combined with Aspirin or an NSAID that can aggravate your acid reflux. What may be more concerning is that some muscle relaxants can be habit forming and can make you drowsy. Be careful driving or climbing ladders or using certain equipment.
