Healthy choices: Has your doctor actually said that your son is underweight? Most children at this age don't eat a lot all the time, and they get picky about what they like. Offer a variety of healthy foods, especially ones he can feed himself, and don't worry too much about how much he eats at each meal. Offer healthy snacks when needed also. Kids will usually eat what they need. Don't make meals a battle.
