Few days ago right wrist started bothering me at night. it hurts to snap my fingers on right hand and right index finger keeps going numb. please help?

Pain, numbness in --: Thumb side of the hand/wrist/fingers would point towards a carpal t syndrome. Other causes could be tendonitis or even RA could have similar symptoms (along with swelling, etc). Use a wrist brace and use it all the time. If not improving see your pcp or preferably an ortho surgeon to be properly evaluated. Good luck.
