Cortisone allergy: Cortisone allergy is real but rare. It is usually an allergic contact skin reaction. The problem is diagnosing is that the cortisone effect suppresses the inflammation and your rash may not appear until 2-3 days after you stop using it. It is the structure of the molecule which causes the problem whether in the same family or not.
