Possible: Sperm can last up to 5 days and it's certainly possible for the viable sperm, when injected into the vagina, to fertilize an egg. This is how ivf is done. However, it's not good for the sperm to forced through a syringe or dry up at all which could traumatize some of the sperm lessening the probability of pregnancy.

See answer: If it is fresh semen and depending upon the depth of vaginal penetration of semen from the syringe, the chance of pregnancy is potentially near the same as with normal penile penetration and ejaculation.

For infertility: Invitro insemination (ivi) is fertility treatment where donor seaman from husband, partner or anonymous donor is injected into the cervix. Technique is used with reduced or low sperm counts and much simpler ; maximizes fertilization before resorting to ivf. Also if male has problems inseminating with vaginal intercourse. Needs 2B done in a fertility clinic. Chances of pregnancy are not bad.
