You can, but : Mobic (meloxicam) and nurofen (ibuprofen) are the same class of medications. Mild pain responds to aspirin, acetaminophen, or an NSAID alone. Adding a low dose of a weak opioid to the nonopioid medication can usually relieve more moderate pain. Rec. See your treating physician for meds adjustment. Do not self medicate.
