No: If they continue have your brother see his family doctor or an ENT specialist. The rare nosebleed will generally resolve on its own.

Dryness?: His nose may get too dried up from riding in hot and dry weather. Try some moisturizer nasal gel on the nasal septum next time before he rides. If necessary, see a doctor to get the bleeding points cauterized- this takes merely seconds.
