Hey i'm 6 weeks and 6 days pregnant and just had ultrasound showing bub with heartbeat at 170bpm. is this normal or should i worry?

Don't Worry: Worrying won't help anything. Fetal heart rate usually peaks at 9-10 wks at 170 BPM so 170 at 7 weeks is a little high. Much too early to think about doing anything and an isolated reading should not be given too much weight. Followup studies will probably be ok. Heart can be better evaluated after 12 weeks.
