A member asked:

Why does my thyroid makes noises?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

???: What noises are you referring to? The thyroid sits low in the neck and does not make any sound other than sometime increased blood flow can be heard in an enlarged thyroid but not by the ear alone. If concerned get checked out.
