A member asked:

When i lay my back against a wall, or something that's solid, i can feel all of my bones, especially my spine. is it normal?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Yes: You are probably rather thin and non muscular, therefore leaning your back against a wall you are more apt to feel your spine/posterior ribs because of less muscular tissue. But, also the spine and ribs are easily felt because of more superficial location and less overlying tissue.
