Resume normal life: These really are questions for your tumt urologist. Urologists are very well compensated for tumt, some feel overcompensated. However, you could both try to stop taking saw palmetto, which doesn't do much anyway (in my opinion) and try ; resume sex which will hopefully cheer both you ; your partner. Good luck.

Saw palmetto : There is little to no benefit from taking saw palmetto following surgical treatment for enlargement of the prostate. Save your money. Sex can generally be resumed within 10-14 days as long as it does not cause undue pain. There likely will be blood in the semen for some time.
