Back specialist: Not sure if you have seen one yet, but it appears that you should see an orthopedic surgeon or possibly even a neurosurgeon who specializes in the back. Pain shots (cortisone, etc.) may help with symptoms, but if there is a major herniated disk, other means may be necessary. I know because i had back surgery in feb, 12011.

?diagnosis: What is the diagnosis ? Did an MRI show a bulging or ruptured disk, arthritis, cyst etc.?Perhaps you should reconsult an orthopedic surgeon for review of your symptoms and tell the pain management specialist that you are experiencing increasing discomfort.
