See answer: Non-bacterial prostatitis is a very common problem especially in younger men (ages 25-45). Underlying causes complex. Not a serious condition as much as it is an annoyance/bother and can in some be a very time-consuming, difficult condition to treat. Stress reduction, dietary modification (avoid caffeine, spicy foods, alcohol), prostate massage, medications used for rx. Recommend see a urologist.
