Yes: Not uncommon for pain pills, usually those containing narcotics (hydrocodone, oxycodone, etc), to cause difficulties with urination. More common in older men because of enlarged prostate and occasionally causing urinary retention requiring catheterization. Constipation from pain pills an even more common side effect which also aggravates or causes the urination difficulty.
