A member asked:

Could lazy eye exercises correct amblyopia ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Only in the young: Amblyopia is a condition in which an eye which is otherwise normal, sees less well. It is almost always caused by some eye malposition or refractive differencies between the two eyes in infancy and early childhood. The pattern of amblyopia becomes fixed if not treated by age 8 years. After that, exercises, etc. Cannot correct the condition.
