A member asked:

I have blood vessels that run into the iris?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Probably not iris: The iris is inside the eye and while it has blood vessels, they are buried out of sight, even with the kind of instrumentation used by an ohthalmologist. If you see vessels, they are on the conjunctiva and could also b e on the cornea. Rarely there is a condition called rubeiosis in advanced diabetes and a few other condtions with vessels on the iris but you need equipment to see them.
