Yes: Even if the mole has been present for many years, if it is changing it could have turned malignant. You should see a dermatologist and have it evaluated.

Yes! See your MD: Yes, it can be a melanoma. You should see a dermatologist and have a proper evaluation and necessary treatment for the mole. Make an appointment as soon as possible. Good luck.

Yes: Get it checked by a dermatologist. It may be nothing - then you will be reassured. But if it is a melanoma - getting it checked may save your life!
