Do you know anything about oral bacteria?

Dr. Dinh Bui answered

We all have them: We all have oral bacteria, over 300 species in our mouth. The question is are they expressed pathogenically? 3 things : local factors (oral hygiene, faulty restoration, food impactions), systemic factors (your general health being), and the occlusion (force distribution in the area). These are three factors affecting the pathogenic expression of the pathogenic bacteria (9 strains).
