Dry eye.: The initial therapy of dry eye usually involves using artificial tears ( preservative free). Your medications you take by mouth may worsen dry eye . If you have dry eyes and dry mouth and arthritis you may have an underlying autoimmune disorder. Warm compresses can help. Omega 3 fatty acids fish oil / flaxseed oil orally can help. Restasis eye drops or punctal plugs can help too
