Yes: Normally, when you look at the spine from the back it should be straight. When the spine is curved, and that curve is greater than 10 degrees, it is called scoliosis. Normally when you look at the mid back from the side, there is a "hump" in the back of up to 45 degrees. When the "hump" is greater than 55 degrees, this is called an increased thoracic kyphosis.
