Perinatology: In order to get detailed information about your baby's growth and development on ultrasound, you need to see a perinatologist. There are many disorders possible but they're rare -- gastroschisis, echogenic bowel, situs inversus, omphalocele, etc. A second trimester ultrasound should look for all of these.
