Hearing loss in kids: Symptoms of hearing loss in children is highly dependant on their age. Infants with hearing loss may not startle at loud sounds, turn their head to mother's voice or not make coo sounds. Older children may have delayed speech development, seem to be ignoring you, perform poorly in school or have behavioral problems.
