Dr. Rajendra Tripathi
Orthopedic Surgery 46 years experience
You do not need: Simple sprain of wrist usually heals with out any long term problems if one takes care of it with rest and immobilzation. Now if you develop chronic instability and especially scaphi-lunate dissociation then you may need to have surgery. There is no one best place to have this type of surgery but find a place that has lot of experience in performing this type of operation . Good hand sur. Service.
