please help! what is the best treatment for early stage prostrate cancer?

Dr. Carlos Encarnacion

Depends: Early prostate cancer can be successfully treated with either surgery or radiation plus or minus hormone therapy. Some cancers, strange as it may sound, grow so slow that may not need treatment at all. The clinical challenge for us is to determine what is the proper therapy for a particular situation. There is no "best treatment". It's a case by case deal.
