Most important risk: Is family history even if have family history single large meal/ day is small extra risk; more important is weight gain/ obesity and eating simple carbohydrates =sweets.

I am trying to lose weight, due to type 2 diabetes. I am obese. I eat my main meal at 7pm. Does this have an effect eating this late?

43 yr. old female. FBG is 97. A1c is 5.5. Very thin (102 lbs, 62 inches). Never been overweight. Don't smoke. Never had gestational diabetes. I eat one meal a day. Fast 20 hours daily, then eat dinner. Numbers seem high. Borderline prediabetic?
