Problem?: What is your perceived problem? Some problems are best solved orthodontically, some with restorative dentistry, some with a combination of both. You can at any time call an orthodontic specialist for an initial examination (usually free or low cost) to see if you would benefit from orthodontic treatment.

Huh?: Not sure why one would "request" a specific appliance-- it may or may not be the best course of treatment for you. I would let your orthodontist guide you through your treatment options and the best course of action and then follow through with them.
