A member asked:

Do you know are all brain tumours cancerous?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not all: To doctors, cancer means a group of cells growing uncontrollably, which eventually take over the patient's metabolism ; cause death. Tumor means a lump of tissue that may or may not grow, ; doesn't 'hijack' the patient's body. But the skull can't expand, so a tumor inside it may put pressure on the brain ; cause death anyway.
