A member asked:

Can you tell me about reconstructive surgery, implants, genetic treatments, for male dry orgasm caused by surgery?

Dr. George Klauber answered

Specializes in Pediatric Urology

What kind of surgery: Most common cause for dry orgasm is after prostate or bladder neck surgery. Semen shoots backwards into bladder rather than travelling down urethra & out though penis. This can not be corrected by surgery, implants or genetic treatments. Sperm can be retrieved & used to impregnate by a fertility specialist, usually urologist, by catheter, needle aspiration from epididymis or by TESE
