A member asked:

Can there be any special lenses for correcting diplopia?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Sometimes: Diplopia occurs in two forms. Incomitant in which the doubling is greater as the eye moves into the area of doubling. And comitant in which the doubling is constant at all eye movements. Prisms can be incorporated in lenses to correct the constant diplopia of comitant disease. It does not work for incomitant diplopa.
