? constipation: You could have internal hemorrhoids, but you could also have constipation. If you have very large hard stools that hurt to have, or you have small balls of stool, you are constipated. I like MiraLAX (polyethylene glycol) for treating constipation, and even if you do have some hemorrhoids as well it would help. Remember to use it every day because constipation always recurs.
